20 March 2020, 6pm Hong Kong time.

The Competition seeks to promote art and stimulate creativity of students in local secondary schools.

This edition of the Competition is supported by the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) to celebrate its reopening after major expansion and renovation and to further promote art in Hong Kong.

This year’s Competition will not only accept entries of Painting, but also entries of Sculpture to offer students the chance to create with different mediums.



Entry to the Competition is open to all Form 1 to Form 6 full-time students in Hong Kong for School Year 2019-2020. Employees of Wheelock and Company Limited, The Wharf Group and its subsidiaries and HKMoA, and their immediate family members or relatives are prohibited from enrolling in this Competition.


Entrants are free to create on any theme. This year, all entrants will at the same time compete for a special award based on the theme “Museum and the City” in addition to the regular competition awards. All entries are subject to the themes covered by sub-clause 2(ii) in the Terms and Conditions.


Entrants can join the Painting Category and Sculpture Category independently or concurrently.
